 NORTH AMERICAN VENTURES RETAINS INVESTMENT BANKING FIRM
 MONTVALE, N.J., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- North American Ventures,


Inc. (NASDAQ: NAVI) announced today that it had retained the Wall Street-based investment banking firm of Emanuel and Company. NAVI said it engaged Emanuel and Company to provide advice, recommendations and financing for acquisition opportunities in the contract services industry for its wholly owned subsidiary, Butler Service Group, Inc. The company said Emanuel will also assist with various shareholder relations matters.
 Edward M. Kopko, chairman of NAVI, stated, "Our strategic plan calls for Butler to continue to increase its presence in certain industry and geographical segments through selective acquisitions. Our retention of Emanuel and Company is an important step in furthering this plan."
 Kopko added, "As major corporations continue to downsize their permanent workforce, we anticipate a demand for temporary contract labor and contract services to fill the gap as the economy grows again. Significant business opportunities for Butler should follow."
 Emanuel and Company is a diversified financial services firm providing full investment banking services and advice to high net worth individuals and institutional investors.
