NOCOPI SIGNS EXCLUSIVE AGREEMENT FOR CHINA
NOCOPI SIGNS EXCLUSIVE AGREEMENT FOR CHINA WAYNE, Pa., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Nocopi International, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: NOOP) today announced that it had granted L Rex International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: LREXF), an exclusive license to market Nocopi technology in the People's Republic of China.
L Rex International, based in Hong Kong, is a leading printer of packaging materials, hardcover and paperback books, and catalogs. The announcement was made by Norman A. Gardner, president and chief executive officer of Nocopi, and Joe A. Amaro, executive vice president of L Rex International, Inc. "This agreement covers the complete range of our technologies," said Gardner. "It provides exclusivity to L Rex for the People's Republic of China (PRC) and non-exclusivity for Hong Kong. The agreement provides for a minimum annual guarantee as well as a percentage of all L Rex sales incorporating the Nocopi technology." "We view this technology as very important to our part of the world," said Amaro. "Counterfeiting in the Far East is very serious. We see the Nocopi technology as being an excellent solution to the problem, a solution which is priced so it can be easily incorporated into almost any product line. This is key to our expansion of printing services in the growing PRC market." L Rex International trades on the NASDAQ Over-the-Counter market. It has manufacturing facilities in both Hong Kong and the People's Republic of China. Nocopi Technologies, Inc., based in Wayne, is a publicly traded company which owns a patented technology to prevent photocopying and faxing of confidential information as well as a system to verify original documents and products. /delval/ -0- 11/4/92 /CONTACT: Norman A.
