NO PARTY TOWN.

ROVERS fans hoping to party until the wee hours in hot and humid Modena will be disappointed. While the majority of the 1,000 travelling supporters are staying in Bologna some 40km away, plenty decamped on Modena last night and will continue to do so ahead of tonight's game.

The area is famous for housing the main factories of Ferrari, De Tomaso, Lamborghini, Pagani and Maserati. But despite its reputations for fast cars, Modena is a sleepy city where life crawls along at a snail's pace for the 180,000 or so citizens.

Indeed, some of the first Hoops supporters to arrive in Modena were dismayed to see many of the bars pull the shutters at 7.30pm.
