FOOTBALL traitor Sol Campbell wants to enter politics, with the Conservatives his party of choice before an inevitable move to Labour.
Former defender Campbell is furious over Labour's proposed mansion tax which would impose a levy on assets worth more than PS2million - that brings in practically everything in London bar Tottenham's back four.
The ex-Arsenal and Tottenham star blasted the levy as a "cheap and easy way to extract money from individuals who have done well" - which brings in practically everyone in London bar Tottenham's back four.
Under Labour's mansion tax plans there will be a series of bands - Campbell has requested Spandau Ballet. He is so angry that he has put his g y p house (below) on the market for PS25m, with some wondering how on earth he has a gaff worth that much. It's in London so my guess is he bought it for PS250,000 three years ago.
The property has six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a dining room and a drawing room. Like Arsenal, though, he decided against a trophy room.
Campbell (above) claims the mansion tax declares open season on the wealthy, though not during the close season.
Labou and ar the usi "Labour have had this brainwave and are unable to think outside the box," said Campbell, who usually did his thinking inside the box, that thinking largely being "welly it".
The former England star is 10-1 with Hills to become a Conservative MP by 2020.
