NMS Labs & Draeger Safety Diagnostics Inc. Announce Commitment to Join Forces in Delivering Total Oral Fluid Drug Testing Solution for Law Enforcement.

WILLOW GROVE, Pa. -- Even by conservative estimates, 20% of vehicular crashes are caused by drugged offenders. In response to this increased incidence of driving under the influence of drugs, two innovative industry leaders, NMS Labs and Draeger Safety Diagnostics Inc. (DSDI) have come together to provide law enforcement with a complete, rapid and non-invasive testing solution.

This new collaboration brings the advantage of non-invasive oral fluid testing to Drug Recognition Experts and Driving Under the Influence of Drug (DUID) programs across the country. By combining two essential parts of a forensically defensible drug test, a sensitive and reliable on-site screen together with a laboratory-based confirmatory test performed by a fully accredited organization, police officers will now have a turn-key solution for their DUID testing needs.

Barry K. Logan, Ph.D., DABFT, National Director, Forensic Services at NMS Labs states, "We are very excited to be partnering with Draeger Safety Diagnostics, a company who has demonstrated strong leadership in this area worldwide."

Similarly, the President of DSDI, George Ballance sees significant improvements for law enforcement customers, and states, "We at DSDI are looking forward to providing a complete solution for oral fluid drug testing, with a partner whose expertise matches the excellence of the Draeger products."
