NLRB RULES IN FAVOR OF LOVE AND WAR

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has dismissed all the unfair labor practice charges filed against Diane English and Joel Shukovsky's production company, Love and War Production Productions Inc.
This result is a complete vindication for Love and War in the NLRB complaint initiated by the IATSE. It also confirms that Love and War's actions were fully justified and lawful in its response to the IATSE's threatened strike last April.
After an extensive three-month investigation, the NLRB concluded that all the claims were false and unjustified. The NLRB determined Love and War treated its crew members properly and fairly when Love and War continued to pay them their salary even though they were not rendering services on the show because of the IATSE threatened strike. The NLRB also determined that no crew members were fired for protected union activity, as alleged by the IATSE.
Company spokesperson John Drinkwater stated, "We are pleased with the NLRB decision, which found no evidence of wrongdoing and confirmed that English and Shukovsky treat their crew fairly. We have always been, and will continue to be, committed to providing those who work with us a healthy and productive working environment. And we believe that they appreciate what we are trying to accomplish together."
