NJ shopping center expands.

Berdan Associates, a partnership between New Jersey's Wilson Associates of Carlstadt and Branca Associates of East Rutherford, has begun construction of a 12,095-square-foot addition to the Point View Shopping Center.

The addition is scheduled to be completed in late June of 1992. Bergen Engineering, an affiliate of Branca, is serving as general contractor for the expansion; the architect is James E. DeBarbieri.

Point View is anchored by Kings Supermarket, and the center includes Aquarium Techniques and Pet Supplies; The Happy Panda Chinese Restaurant; Once Upon a Wish, a unique children's gift store; Coldwell Banker/Schlott Realtors; Encore Books; Faces Plus; Hudson City Savings Bank; Mailboxes, Etc; and Valley Ridge Dry Cleaners.

Located on 7.4 acres on Berdan Avenue in Wayne, New Jersey, the property is in the heart of the town's shopping district, near Hamburg Turnpike, the Preakness Shopping Center, and the Wayne Hills Mall. Leasing is being handled by Andrea Mateo of Branca Associates.
