NISSAN ANNOUNCES PRICE INCREASE FOR SELECTED ALTIMA MODELS

CARSON, Calif., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Nissan Motor Corp. U.S.A. has announced it will raise prices on selected models of its 1993 Altima mid-size sedan, effective Feb. 1, 1993.
The increases range from $200 to $300 and represent a sales- weighted average of 1.5 percent over previous pricing.
According to Earl J. Hesterberg, vice president and general manager of Nissan Division, the increase balances current business and economic factors, while maintaining the Altima's status as the affordable luxury sedan.
