NISSAN ANNOUNCES PRICE INCREASE FOR 1993 MODEL LINE

 CARSON, Calif., Dec. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Nissan Motor Corp. U.S.A. has announced it will raise prices on its 1993 Nissan model passenger cars and light trucks an average of $179, effective Jan. 4, 1993. This increase represents a sales-weighted average of 1.1 percent over previous prices.
 Pricing for the 1993 Nissan Altima will not be affected by the January increase.
 According to Earl J. Hesterberg, vice president, general manager, Nissan Division, the increase is because of current business and economic factors.
