NINA Signs News Cooperation Agreement With Egypt's Middle East News Agency.

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) -- The National Iraq News Agency (NINA) signed an agreement with the Egyptian Middle East News Agency (MENA) to exchange news and press reports and consolidate professional relations between the two agencies.

The agreement was signed by Shafiq al-Obeidi, NINA's director on behalf of Executive Manager of (NINA), Moayad Al-Lami, and from the Egyptian side, signed by Chairman of Board of Directors of MENA, Ali Hassan.

The agreement included the exchange of news, press reports and photographs, and the two agencies should refer to the source of the news and the press report of both when news and reports published."

The agreement also included enhancing cooperation in the field of training and refining press and technology skills by allowing editors and photographers from both sides to participate in training events organized by the training centers of the two agencies on the basis of agreement from both sides on each session.

The two sides agreed to exchange photos and use them with maximum of (20) pictures per day on their news services, provided that the source of these images should be mentioned when used while preserving the origin of these images. "/ End
