NIGELLA LAWSTUNNED.

Byline: Fiona Phillips

SAT next to the comely and deliciously charming Nigella Lawson at a fundraising lunch for The Lady Taverners on Wednesday and I am proud to announce that I ate about twice as much as she did. Maybe it's a lack of breeding on my part, but I cleaned my plate for all three courses, while she left a discreet pile of her main course and skipped her pudding. I then went on to mop up some coffee and chocolates too. My triumph was short-lived though when she got up and displayed her magnificent figure all wrapped-up in a tight-fitting, fluffy, chocolate swirl of a dress, leaving me, stuffed to the gunnels, feeling sick... with envy.
