NIELSEN EUROPE APPOINTS ROBINO SENIOR VP, HUMAN RESOURCES

 NORTHBROOK, Ill., July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- David J. Robino, 33, has been appointed senior vice president, human resources, Nielsen Europe, effective Aug. 1. He succeeds Jerry L. Strimbu who was recently named executive vice president, human resources, Leo Burnett. Previously, Robino held the same position for Nielsen Marketing Research USA, a position he held since November 1990.
 Tom Waldron, vice president, human resources, will shift from Nielsen's Canadian operation to support the marketing research business in the United States. John Renfro, vice president, human resources, will be responsible for human resource management of the Pacific, Latin American and Canadian regions.
 Robino, who joined Nielsen in 1989, will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of all human resource initiatives. He will work closely with Christos Cotsakos, president, Nielsen Europe. Robino will relocate to Brussels, and will maintain an office at Nielsen Europe's Waterloo Customer Coordination Center.
