NIELSEN'S PROCISION SALES HIT $100 MILLION NORTHBROOK, Ill., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Nielsen Marketing Research
today announced it has reached $100 million in orders for its new Procision(TM) integrated information service that provides comprehensive coverage of the sales of health-and-beauty aid (HBA) products.
Company officials said sales have tripled since September for Procision, which was introduced in June. To date, more than 20 major HBA manufacturers have submitted orders for Procision. Nielsen's integrated information service tracks all major HBA outlets and measures the influence of such causal factors as coupons, exposure to television advertising, and free-standing inserts.
