NICOLLET PROCESS ENGINEERING AWARDED TWO MAJOR CONTRACTS FOR PROCESS MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEMS

 MINNEAPOLIS, July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Nicollet Process Engineering, Inc., (NPE) announced today that it has been awarded two contracts to supply process monitoring and control systems to die casting plants operated by Doehler-Jarvis, Inc., Toledo, Ohio. Doehler-Jarvis is the nation's largest independent die caster, and a primary supplier of castings to the Ford Motor Company. NPE systems will be installed at Doehler-Jarvis facilities in Toledo and Pottstown, Pa. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

"It appears that our advanced technology and commitment to customer service were the deciding factors," added Pitner. "Each plant made its own evaluation and reached its decision independently."
 With this contract, NPE continues to rapidly grow its customer base in the die casting industry. NPE has claimed a leadership role with automotive die casters, working directly with captive plants of the Big Three automakers, and with independent custom die casters that serve the automotive industry in both the United States and Europe. Beyond the automotive industry, NPE supplies process monitoring and control equipment to a wide range of prominent customers, including Black & Decker, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Mercury Marine, Tecumseh Engine and Toro. Local NPE customers include Hartzell Manufacturing, Kurt Manufacturing, Tool Products and QX Die Casting.
 Nicollet Process Engineering designs, manufactures and markets process monitoring and control systems for industry. The world market for process monitoring and control exceeds $1 billion per year. Developed first for the die cast industry, NPE's technology has applications in other industries that require monitoring and control to improve quality verification and productivity.
