NHS strike sad to see; Letters

ARE we returning to the days of Margaret Thatcher's government in the 1970s? How disgusting that NHS staff have to go on strike for four hours to let their point be known.

If they were paid a decent living wage this situation would not have occurred.

Come on David Cameron, who looked after your sick son? Was it not the nurses and the NHS? Midwives (although emergency skeleton staff did provide a service), ambulance staff and the like had to give up four hours' pay.

Let's hope the Thatcher-type government is not going to return and the country come to an absolute standstill as was the case in the 1970s.
