NHA organizes training of master trainers for implementation of Urdu as office language.

ISLAMABAD -- National Highway Authority (NHA) has decided to train all its officers and staff in Urdu to ensure implementation of Urdu as office language.

The decision has been taken in light of the Supreme Court of Pakistan verdict and Prime Minister's directives regarding implementation of Urdu as office language.

As the number of employees of the NHA was in thousands,it was decided to prepare master trainers who would train staff of their respective offices.

Sixteen officials were selected for training gas master trainers who were imparted training of Urdu at Highway Research and Training Centre Burhan. Services of expert official language Noor Ahemd Shah were hired who is writer of several books on office related works and has trained thousands of officials of so far.

The training of the master trainers was completed in three months time and a certificate distribution ceremony was held.Chief guest of the ceremony was Raja Nausherwan,Member Planning NHA.

In his address Raja Nausherwan said that keeping in view the court orders, organised the training on priority basis and the master trainers would now play important role in implementation of Urdu as office language.
