NFIB hotline provides small business advice.

The NFIB Foundation, an arm of the National Federation of Independent Business, is cosponsoring an information and advice hot line for small businesses with Southwestern Bell Telephone.

The Small Business Help-Line is designed to give entrepreneurs quick, accurate tips as a starting point in their research efforts. The line features messages and advice on six business categories: current legislative issues, finance, starting a small business, management, marketing and personnel. Each message includes an overview of the topic selected followed by a list of resources.

The Small Business Help-Line can be reached by calling (900) 820- 6342. Callers have 15 seconds to disconnect before incurring a charge; thereafter, the service costs $.95 per minute. All revenues generated by the service will be used to expand and develop it.
