NEXT week we can look [...].

Byline: Paddy Power

NEXT week we can look forward to toffs galore and Pimms by the barrel at Royal Ascot... but don't let that put you off! Royal Ascot is to Flat racing what Cheltenham is to jumps. Five superb days kick off on Tuesday and there's a huge Irish interest.

Highlight of day one has to be FRANKEL. (Soon to be "Sir") Henry Cecil's horse is practically unbeatable and odds of 1/3 reflect that. Nor would I suggest opposing him, although Japanese raider Grand Prix Boss at 14/1 is tempting. Also, keep an eye out for family horse Sole Power. Trained by Edward Lynam, he goes to the L King's Stand Stakes with every chance... and at 7/1! Then it's an Irish benefit in the Ascot Gold Cup on Thursday. Dermot Weld's Rite Of Passage against Aidan O'Brien's Fame and Glory.

It's impossible to fault either, but I back the proven stayer Rite Of Passage at 3/1.
