Tripp Advertising has added Outers to its list of clients. The agency has also hired two employees and promoted one.
Ann Trinter has joined Tripp as the agency's production manager. She will oversee all print, point-of-sale, promotional and broadcast production projects. Trinter has over 15 years in the graphic design and print industry.
Tammy Cochrane has been hired as administrative assistant to the firm's president, Howard Tripp. Cochrane will assist the president with operations and coordinating internal projects.
Sondra Pelvit has been promoted to the position of account manager. Pelvit will be responsible for managing Bear River Tree Stands, Federal Ammunition, Weaver scopes and Volvo Penta marine engines.
Rosse & Associates Appoints Account Executive
Todd Thornton is a new account executive for the advertising and marketing agency of Rosse & Associates. He will be responsible for coordinating the development of programs for several clients in the outdoor sports and industrial areas.
Thornton was previously a corporate account specialist with Yokohama Tire Corp. He has a bachelor's degree in marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
Woolrich Names Senior Vice President
Richard S. Insley is the new senior vice president of sales, marketing and merchandising at Woolrich Inc.
Insley has been a member of the firm's board of directors since 1988. He joined Woolrich as a merchandise manager in 1981 and was named vice president of merchandising in 1986. Prior to joining Woolrich, Insley was general merchandise manager for Puritan Clothing Co. He, resides in Lock Haven, Penn., with his family.
Buck Knives Names National Sales Manager
John R. Weaver has been named national sales manager for Buck Knives. Weaver will work closely with the vice president of sales and marketing, Al Kavalauskas, to strengthen distribution plans and enhance sales positions at all levels. Weaver has held key sales and marketing positions in the sporting goods industry for 18 years.
Promoted from within the company, Joe Anasagasti is now director of human resources and Gail Sloan is marketing manager for Buck Knives.
High Country Archery Announces Promotions
Donna Johnston has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing for High Country Archery. For the past nine years, Johnston has managed the company's sales department.
Rob Seelye has accepted a position as general manager within High Country. In addition to his new duties, Seelye will continue his responsibilities as sales representative in Montana, Wyoming and the Dakotas. He brings over 30 years of archery experience as a shooter, shop owner and sales representative.
MKS Supply Hires National Sales Manager
Kelly Walton has been appointed national sales manager for MKS Supply Inc., marketer of Hi-Point Firearms. His primary responsibilities include maintaining distributor relationships and providing a knowledgeable interface for retail support and promotions.
Walton has over 16 years of sales experience in the manufacturing and wholesale sporting goods business.
Browning/USRAC Appoint VP of Advertising
Becky Costello is the new vice president of advertising for Browning and U.S. Repeating Arms Co. (USRAC). She succeeds Dave Zeigler who retires on April 28.
Costello will head the in-house advertising agency for both companies. Her responsibilities include all media advertising, sales and product literature, co-op advertising, point of sales programs and advertising mailings for Winchester firearms and clothing products as wells as all Browning firearms and non-gun products.
She began here career in the firearms industry with Mossberg in 1990 and joined U.S. Repeating Arms in 1991. Costello has held various positions in advertising and promotions for both U.S. Repeating Arms and Browning.
Dave Zeigler is acting as an advertising consultant until his retirement.
