 NEWS CONFERENCE TO UPDATE STATUS OF UNION-AT&T NEGOTIATIONS
 Communications Workers of America (CWA) President Morton Bahr announced that he has instructed the union's local bargaining committees to return home, noting that "AT&T has been unresponsive to our employment security issues."
 CWA will spell out all of the disputed issues and announce the tactics the union and its members will employ against AT&T at a news conference today at 2 p.m. at CWA headquarters, 501 Third St. N.W., Washington.
 Washington news organizations are encouraged to cover this important update on the year's largest labor negotiations, and same day coverage of the news conference will be available by satellite.
