NEW YORK POST'S BRAY ELECTED PRESIDENT OF NEW YORK FINANCIAL WRITERS'
 ASSOCIATION
 NEW YORK, Jan. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Gerard Bray of the New York Post was elected president of the New York Financial Writers' Association at the annual meeting here last night.
 Elected vice president was Martin Cherrin, Reuters Information Services Inc.; treasurer, John McCorry, Bond World; and secretary- assistant treasurer, Terri Thompson, U.S. News and World Report.
 Elected governors were: Alison Leigh Cowan, New York Times; Thomas Easton, Baltimore Sun; Amy Friedman, Investment Advisor; Steve Govoni, a freelance writer; Elizabeth Kiesche, Chemical Week; Paul Martin, Wall Street Journal; Sal Nuccio, a freelance writer; Margaret Price, Pensions and Investments; Elisabeth Yapp, Cable News Network. Price served as 1991 president.
 The officers and governors were elected by "active," working journalist, members.
 Elected non-voting associate member representatives to the board were: Thomas Mariam, American Stock Exchange; Stanley Rubenstein, S.E. Rubenstein; and Arthur Samansky, Securities Industry Association.
 The Association, founded in 1938, seeks to enhance the professional standards of its members and conducts a variety of seminars, and newsmaker luncheons and dinners.
 The Association also puts on an annual show lampooning business and financial executives.
