NEW YEAR, MORE BONE!
As surely as the sun rises in the morning, every year when deer season ends, hunters ask one other the same question: "How'd your season go?"
Perhaps more than any other line, that simple greeting has sparked conversations among whitetailers of all ages, origins and skill levels. Deer hunters who barely know one another can easily spend hours conversing about epic harvests, heartbreaking misses or sentimental days spent afield. The power of the universal bond we deer hunters share is strong enough to bring together individuals who have little else in common. That's pretty cool, really.
The cast and crew of North American Whitetail TV presented by Quick Attach hope you enjoyed your own hunting successes last season. If you're like us, you can't believe it's already come and gone! Oh, well--time to head to the woods for some shed hunting, scouting and habitat management to pass the time until another opening day.
But the deer-hunting action itself doesn't have to end entirely. As you start to make your plans for next year's whitetail fun, be sure to check out our brand-new batch of exciting episodes on The Sportsman Channel every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. ET. The new airings feature our team members' hunts from across the continent, as well as a healthy dose of practical management content and honest hunting advice.
Plus, we're excited to announce the start of "Shed Heads," a fantastic new segment with NAW Editor in Chief Gordon Whittington and "The Antler Collector" himself, Mike Charowhas. Together, they're showing off some of history's largest and most impressive wild whitetail sheds. The two experts will divulge the legends, backstories and folklore accompanying these incredible fallen bones.
So at the start of what likely will feel like a too-long post-season, gather friends and family around the TV and let us keep you fired up about chasing, managing and admiring whitetails. You can always count on us for that!
