NEW TALKING SPOONS AND FORKS ARE STRONG CANDIDATES

FOR 'BEST PRODUCT' AT JUVENILE PRODUCTS MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Yummy-Yummy(TM) Talking Spoon and Fork, the first talking/musical spoon and fork for children, and Brushy-Brushy(TM), the first singing, musical toothbrush, promise to be strong contenders in the "Best New Product" competition at the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) industry trade show, Oct. 13-16, Booth M204, at the Dallas Apparel Mart, 2300 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas.
Ben Cohen, vice president of Marketing and Sales for Ocean Shore Toys (OST), the manufacturer of these delightful and talkative new products, will be stationed in Booth M204 to introduce, demonstrate and discuss Yummy's unique value to parents and children. Created as an extension of the old ploy "here comes the airplane," Yummy-Yummy Talking Spoons and Forks help frustrated parents at feeding time with their children's often chaotic eating habits, while children who eat with Yummy are totally captivated by the playful interaction.
Incorporating special talking and musical sound technology into its overall concept has given OST the ability to create a full line of products, appealing to children and adults, to instill good health, hygiene and eating habits. When children hear Yummy speak, they understand that it's time to eat and that mealtime is a happy time.
Yummy-Yummy features a magical Yummy button on the bib of its adorable character-faced handle. Each time the button is pressed, a friendly, cheerful voice says one of these four alternating phrases: "Mmmmm, that's so good," "Open wide, here comes Yummy," "Yummmm- Yumm's special friend ... I love you" and "Hey, that tickles! You're so silly." The Brushy-Brushy Talking/Musical Toothbrush features a tuneful and cheerful musical jingle, delighting and entertaining children while encouraging good brushing habits.
Ocean Shore Toys Inc. has taken major strides to assure its products conform to all safety standards and specifications as designated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Crafted in durable non-tox pc material, Yummy-Yummy consists of a comfortable child-size control handle and dishwasher-safe Feeding Tips (a fork and a spoon), easily interchangeable by simply removing them from the control handle. Brushy-Brushy works much the same way with a Brushy Tooth Brush Tip easily separating from the musical control handle.
Yummy and Brushy have a suggested retail price of $11.95 (single unit) and $21.95 (set of two). Custom language chips, including Spanish will soon be available.
