NEW SERVICE DELIVERS COMPLETE TRAVEL AND LODGING INFORMATION FREE TO CALLERS INSTANTLY VIA FAX

SAGINAW, Mich., July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- TravelFax, a joint venture from Data Transfer Corporation located here, and Travelgraphics International, Inc., Norcross, Ga., delivers up-to-the-minute information from hotels around the world, free to callers with access to a fax machine. Within moments, TravelFax provides comprehensive information on the amenities of hotels including location maps, hotel, room and parking layouts, special guest services, in-house restaurant/ lounge and meeting facilities and other features important to business and leisure travelers alike.
TravelFax is being introduced to over 2 million subscribers of Travelgraphics' Worldwide Hotel Rate Directory (WHRD), a publication offering savings on accommodations at more than 10,000 participating hotels around the world. In addition, TravelFax will be available to more than 25 percent of all travel agents in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom. Travelgraphics president, David Fuller, believes that TravelFax is the perfect complement to his publication as "this new service furnishes more in-depth and up-to-date information than any directory could."
Access to the information is simple. Using a touch-tone phone, callers to the toll-free number merely supply the TravelFax code associated with the hotel, along with their fax number. The information is transmitted within moments. If callers do not have a directory handy, they can also request a list of hotels by area code and city.
As a complement to TravelFax, other fax services are available to travelers to fully plan their trips: MenuFax offers restaurant listings, menus and prices, location maps, and discount certificates; SportsFax provides sport and recreation events and location information, from professional stadiums to golf courses; and A&E Fax (for Arts and Entertainment) delivers information on museums, theaters, concerts and other cultural interests.
Ron Herman, president of Data Transfer, calls the joint venture with Travelgraphics a perfect blend of hospitality and technology. Through TravelFax, and the entire fax service network, he is proud to be "taking the guesswork out of travel."
For a free demonstration of this exciting new service, please call 800-891-TRIP. Use 12345 as your selected hotel code.
