NEW PROCESS GEAR DIVISION OF NEW VENTURE GEAR
EARNS GM'S HIGHEST SUPPLIER AWARD
SYRACUSE, N.Y., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The New Process Gear Division of New Venture Gear has earned General Motors' highest supplier award, the Mark of Excellence. General Motors executives will present the award at a ceremony in Syracuse on Nov. 22.
The Mark of Excellence is given to companies which are rated world- class in five separate categories, as judged by General Motors (NYSE: GM). The categories rate a supplier on quality, cost, delivery, technology and leadership. Possible scores range from 1 to 5 with 1 being perfect. A 2 rating means all of General Motors' requirements have been met. A rating of 1.4 in a category means a candidate has performed to world-class standards. New Process Gear received a 1.4 rating or better in each of the five categories.
The ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. ET at the New Process Gear Division, 6600 Chrysler Drive, East Syracuse, N.Y.
