NEW PRESIDENT NAMED FOR HEALTH CARE VENDOR AUTOMATED BENEFIT SERVICES, INC. OAK PARK, Mich., March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Daniel Gorczyca has been named president of Automated Benefit Services, Inc. (ABS) of Oak Park, one of Michigan's top three third-party administrators of self-insured health care benefits plans. Gorczyca, 34, was vice president of marketing of the firm which paid more than $80 million in claims in 1991. The privately held company manages self-insured medical and other benefits for more than 50 industrial, commercial and labor union clients, protecting more than 100,000 clients in Michigan, Tennessee and Florida. Among the company's major accounts are Elias Brothers Restaurants, Sinai Hospital, the Michigan Floral Association, BoRics, Silver's Inc., Redford Union Schools, the Detroit Police Officers Association, City Management Co., several large union trusts and the Port Everglades Authority in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Gorczyca, a native of Buffalo, N.Y., holds a degree in business administration from Valparaiso University. He was vice president and general manager of Boweil Storage and Transit Co. of Cincinnati before joining ABS five years ago.
