NEW PC-BASED CHROMATOGRAPHY WORKSTATION OFFERS TRUE WINDOWS LOOK, FEEL AND BEHAVIOR

SUNNYVALE, Calif, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Dionex Corp. (NASDAQ: DNEX) announced the introduction of the PeakNet(TM) Chromatography Workstation. The new workstation provides single-point, PC-based control for the new Dionex DX 500 Chromatography systems for IC and HPLC.
PeakNet includes the tools necessary to control and automate all aspects of DX 500 system operation, including data analysis, processing, calibration, configuration, scheduling and reporting. PeakNet can be used to automate chromatography from sample injection to information management, monitor results in real-time, and document data according to GLP/GALP and other requirements.
Based on nearly a decade of experience developing successful Windows(TM)-based software, the intuitive PeakNet user interface looks, feels and behaves like a true Windows application, making it easy to use and learn. Using PeakNet, the chromatographer can quickly optimize baselines, compare chromatograms, subtract backgrounds, fit calibration curves and reprocess data on multiple samples. Data can also be transferred directly to other Windows applications, including Microsoft(R) Excel and Word.
PeakNet communicates with DX 500 modules through a high-speed, bi-directional PC-to-module interface called DX LAN(TM). DX LAN sends digital data directly from the modules to the host PC, thereby eliminating the need for external digital conversion devices and reducing signal noise at distances up to 180 meters (600 feet).
