NEW NETHAWK M5 PROVIDES EASY ACCESS/DECODING FOR TRAFFIC.
As the sessions can be closely monitored in real time as they utilise HSPA services, the NetHawk M5 Call and Session Analysis tool provides a summary of all the traced transactions and full details are available with a mouse-click. The NetHawk M5 Statistics tool provides essential information on the overall performance of the network over the traced period in terms of success/failure rates. The Statistics tool traces the HSPA sessions, counts them, and analyses the success or failure and the reason for the failure. Results are visualised in clear graphics.
NetHawk Simulators provide interactive and automated functional and load testing for HSPA. They offer HSPA L1 and L3 test configuration, setup and data transmission with ready-to-run scripts for Node B testing. The NetHawk Simulator enables tracing of the HS-DSCH and E-DCH Frame Protocol and NBAP with Rel 6 decoding.
HSDPA and HSUPA provide an evolutionary path for UTRAN leading to higher data capacity up to 14.4 Mbit/s per cell in the downlink and to 5.76 Mbit/s in the uplink per cell. HSDPA defines a new WCDMA channel, the high-speed downlink shared channel (HS-DSCH) that operates in a different way from existing WCDMA channels, but is only used for downlink communication to the mobile. HSUPA uses an uplink enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH) on which it will employ link adaptation methods similar to those employed by HSDPA.
