NEW MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE AT ISL

 LUCERNE, Switzerland, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The ISL Marketing Group, headquartered in Lucerne, has announced changes in its management structure intended to respond to the demands of the group's next major projects which will be held in the USA: the FIFA Football (Soccer) World Cup to be held throughout the U.S. in 1994 and the Summer Olympic Games in 1996 in Atlanta. J. Brian McGrath, at present, chief executive officer and president of ISL Marketing AG, has expressed the desire to relocate to the United States and has been appointed chairman and chief executive officer of ISL Holding (U.S.A.) Inc. to direct the expansion of ISL's U.S. activities. New chairman of ISL Marketing AG will be Jean-Marie Weber, who has greatly contributed to the development of ISL since its foundation by the late Horst Dassler in 1982. He takes the position of Christopher P. Malms, who will be delegated by the board to become the group's new president. Furthermore, responsibilities for marketing and TV rights/services at ISL will now be integrated within the ISL core projects (olympics, soccer, track and field, basketball etc.) resulting in a stronger and more effective project organization. The recently reorganized ISL Properties AG (formerly ISL Football AG), whose task is the development and acquisition of new marketing and sponsorship properties, has already begun its new activities.
 The following changes will take effect on Oct. 1, 1993 at board and management level of ISL Marketing AG:
 -- Christopher P. Malms, the current chairman of the board of directors of ISL Marketing AG, will be appointed delegate of that board and president to head the ISL Marketing Group with a senior management team composed of:
 -- Andrew H. Craig, at present executive vice president and deputy CEO, who will be appointed managing director and serve as deputy of the delegate;
 -- Stephen J. Dixon, at present executive vice president, who will be appointed managing director.
 Malms will continue as chairman of Sports Holding AG, the majority shareholder of the ISL Group of Companies.
 -- Jean-Marie Weber, at present vice chairman of ISL Marketing AG, will become the new chairman of the board. He will also continue as chairman of ISL Properties AG and ISL Licensing AG.
 -- J. Brian McGrath, presently president and CEO of ISL Marketing AG, Lucerne, relocates to the U.S. to take up his appointment as chairman and CEO of ISL Holding (U.S.A.) Inc. in supervising the US operations of ISL. In this position he will also be responsible for the development of new business opportunities in the U.S.
 -- Harujuki Takahashi, director of the ISL Division of Dentsu in Tokyo, will succeed the late Yoichi Hattori as vice chairman of the board of directors of ISL Marketing AG.
 -- Peter G. Sprogis, at present executive vice president-television, who has also contributed significantly to the success of ISL's track & field program, has agreed to concentrate his work with ISL Properties AG headed by Jean-Marie Weber as consultant in the important areas of acquisition and development of TV and sponsorship properties in new business areas. He will also continue to consult to ISL Marketing on TV, track & field and other core project activities as required.
 "This reorganization addresses the key aspects and current priorities of our business," comments Malms. "The control of both marketing and TV activities by each core project is an important next step forward as we increasingly integrate media elements with our sponsorship packages." Adds Brian McGrath: "The development and expansion of our U.S. based business is very important for ISL. The upcoming World Cup and Olympic Games in the U.S. provide an opportunity to showcase our marketing and event management expertise."
 Since 1982, ISL - one of the leading companies in the field of sports event marketing - has been marketing exclusive sponsorship communications packages to international companies in the consumer goods and services areas to provide long-term support to international sports federations in the financing and organization of its major large scale and very popular sports events. ISL's long-standing business partners are the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), the European Football Association (UEFA), the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF), the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and recently the International Cycling Federation (UCI).
