NEW KODAK TELEPHOTO CAMERA TO BE LAUNCHED AT SUPER BOWL (Product Announcement)

 NEW KODAK TELEPHOTO CAMERA
TO BE LAUNCHED AT SUPER BOWL
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Eastman Kodak Company's (NYSE: EK) newest Fun Saver camera, featuring an action-grabbing 85mm telephoto lens, will make its worldwide "in-person" debut at Super Bowl XXVI in Minneapolis this Sunday.
The camera is scheduled to begin arriving on store shelves nationwide in March, but people attending the Super Bowl will have the opportunity to buy the camera at the Metrodome in Minneapolis.
"With an 85mm telephoto lens, the Fun Saver telefoto 35 camera will bring all the game action much closer than the point-and-shoot 35mm cameras that most people use," said Robert C. Sharp, vice-president and general manager of U.S. marketing and sales in Kodak's Consumer Imaging.
The camera comes pre-loaded with 24 exposure Kodak Gold 1600 film, a high-speed film ideal for shooting in daylight or under nighttime stadium lighting. Once the film has been shot, the consumer returns the entire camera to the photofinisher for film processing. Photofinishers then return the spent cameras to Kodak for recycling.
Kodak has made special arrangements with a licensed NFL vendor to have a large supply of cameras available on Super Bowl Sunday. Vendors will also be selling a variety of Kodak films and batteries.
