NEW ERGOMATES(TM) REDUCE WORK-RELATED JOINT INJURIES
Champion Ergonomics Introduces Complete Line of Support Products
WAKE FOREST, N.C., May 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Workers performing repetitive tasks such as typing, lifting, bending or sitting for long periods of time often develop stress and strain related injuries, which result in decreased productivity, lost time on the job and expensive medical rehabilitation. Champion Ergonomics now offers a complete line of support products for use in reducing stress related injuries to the wrist, ankle, knee, elbow and back.
The most common injuries are Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Epicondylitis ("Tennis Elbow"). Ergomates(TM) significantly reduce the occurrence of these injuries by providing additional tension and joint support. The Universal Carpal Tunnel Work Supports are available in three models which adjust to fit any size wrists. They are available in elastic or neoprene wrist wraps, or a perforated wrist brace. A 7" elastic wrist support with tension strap is also available.
The neoprene ankle support permits limited motion, has no straps or moving parts and can be worn with work shoes to help support weak ankle joints. The neoprene knee sleeve provides comfortable, uniform support while retaining body warmth, increasing circulation and providing joint support. The knee sleeve is available with an open patella or closed patella.
Elbow supports decrease potential Epicondylitis, or "Tennis Elbow," caused by repetitive motion of the elbow. Champion's elbow supports come in two designs: a 3" white canvas/foam support with loop lock for added compression, and a neoprene elbow sleeve with adjustable compression strap to reduce tension in the wrist and finger during gripping. All of the joint supports are machine washable and come in various sizes.
Champion's back comfort cushion has a unique 2-plane shape which supports both laterally and vertically, making it ideal for office chairs, driving, or for chairs at home. The back comfort cushion eases low back pain while sitting and relieves low back disc pressure, reducing pain and fatigue. Using Champion's back comfort cushion promotes good posture, too, because it assists in restoring the lumbar curve. The cushion is available in a variety of colors and has two adjustable straps to secure it to any style seat.
Champion Ergonomics, Inc. is a one-year old Wake Forest, N.C. company with sales and distribution throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. Their complete line of support products includes the Ergomates(TM) as well as a unique, patented work belt. Their work belt is the only one on the market which can be easily checked for proper wearing because it is designed with a red Velcro patch at the front of the belt. When properly worn, the patented red patch is completely covered by the supporting side straps, and true abdominal lift support is attained.
