The Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture Multan (MNS-UAM) is going to start new degree programmes under Plant Pathology, Social Science, Agricultural Economics, Agri Business, Computer Science, Information Technology and Veterinary Science disciplines. The courses have been approved by the academic council of the varsity in its meeting on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rao Asif Ali and scheme of study for different departments was approved during it. Besides approval of new programmes, the meeting also approved changes in course codes.

Earlier, the VC briefed the members of academic council on progress in research and implementation of latest academic mechanism in the varsity. The meeting was attended by Prof Zahir Ahmad Zaheer from University of Environmental Sciences Faisalabad, Deputy Secretary Agriculture Government of Punjab Naem Khalid, Pro-VC Dr Ishtiaq Rajwana and others.
