NEW BOOK 'FAX POWER' EXPLAINS HOW TO USE FAX-ON-DEMAND, FAX-BROADCAST, AND FAX DESKTOP PUBLISHING

/ADVANCE/SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- A just-published book entitled, "FAX POWER: High Leverage Business Communications," explains how businesses can use fax-on-demand, fax broadcasting and desktop publishing (DTP) with fax to increase sales, customer satisfaction, growth and generally improve business.
"FAX POWER" starts with examples chosen to let readers quickly visualize how their businesses can use these new technologies. It details actual cases that illustrate the use of these new technologies in publishing time-sensitive news; fulfilling customer requests for documents, service and support; improving government service; marketing specialized information, and even helping to prevent crime. Information is provided so readers can try actual fax-on-demand systems.
The book then devotes one chapter to each of the three fax technology areas: fax broadcasting for sending large numbers of documents by fax, fax-on-demand for automatically sending faxes to callers, and DTP with fax for creating distortion-free, near-laser-quality fax documents through the use of digital direct fax techniques.
"FAX POWER" also includes chapters on improving fax performance and understanding future trends and how they might affect business decisions. An appendix contains a resource directory that lists sources for products, services and information.
This unique book should be of interest to anyone in the fields of marketing, publishing, communications, sales, customer service, technical support and public relations. Readers new to these fax technologies will learn the important concepts that let them ask the right questions when considering specific solutions or products. More technical readers and those responsible for operations will benefit from the time-saving tips on using many current products and services.
