NEW APPAREL NETWORK MEMBERS.

Texpasa, run by brothers Roberto and Jaime Quan, has joined the American Apparel Producers Network (AAPNetwork). They descend from a Chinese grandfather who emigrated to Guatemala. Texpasa is completely vertical, offering spinning, knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing, wet processing, embellishment and packing. With over 1,000 people, including 550 in sewing, it produces more than 30,000 dozen garments a month. "We have passed certification by JC Penney, Wal-Mart, Phillip Van Heusen, GAP and others.
