NEW, LOW SPRINGTIME FARE TO IRELAND FROM AER LINGUS

NEW YORK, April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Spring arrives in Ireland a full month before much of the United States has yet shaken off the effects of winter. The Emerald Isle is now sporting its famous 40 shades of spring green, with numerous splashes of color being provided by the wildflowers of the season.
Aer Lingus wants U.S. travelers to experience this special time in Ireland for themselves. Today, Ireland's airline introduced a new springtime special fare of $438 roundtrip to Shannon (Dublin is $20 extra) from New York or Boston. Designed for travel in April and May, this fare is available for sale through April 30 and travel to Ireland must commence no later than May 31 next. The only major conditions of the fare are that it must be purchased at least two days before travel and the length of stay in Ireland is restricted to seven days. From New York, there is a $20 roundtrip weekend travel surcharge (no extra charge from Boston.)
This is a unique opportunity to take that oft-postponed trip to Ireland at a price that won't be available for very long. Travelers can combine this $438 airfare with an Aer Lingus "Discover Ireland" vacation for as little as $45 per person, per day -- and that includes accommodation, a full breakfast daily and an Avis car rental for one low price.
So, for little more than $700 per person, including airfare, a one- week spring vacation in Ireland is now a tempting reality with this new Aer Lingus fare. Prospective travelers (and those who still need to think about it some more) should call their travel agents now for all the details. Or a call to Aer Lingus at 800-223-6537 (in New York City, 212-557-1110) will yield the full particulars of this wonderful travel value.
