 NEVADA POWER'S CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER RESIGNS
 LAS VEGAS, Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Nevada Power (NYSE: NVP) Vice


President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer Richard G. Hyte resigned today for personal reasons, effective immediately. In making the announcement, President Jim Holcombe said the company will move to name a new financial officer as quickly as possible.
 Holcombe says the company is confident of finding the right person to fill this important position. "These are challenging times, especially in view of the continued growth we are experiencing. Finding the right individual to join our team is a top priority".
