 NEUTROGENA VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER RESIGNS
 LOS ANGELES, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Neutrogena Corp. (NASDAQ: NGNA) today announced the resignation of Bruce E. Kanter, senior vice president and chief financial officer of the company. Kanter, 48, leaves Neutrogena to pursue a significant top management opportunity in a different industry.
 Additionally, Neutrogena said Dr. Mitchell S. Wortzman, 41, who has served as president of the company's dermatologics division since 1989, has been named a corporate officer.
 "During his 11 years with Neutrogena, Bruce Kanter has participated in our growth from $29 million in sales to more than $230 million," said Lloyd E. Cotsen, chairman and chief executive officer. "His service to us as chief financial officer has contributed significantly to the successful development and financial management of our company. We wish him equal success in his new endeavor."
 Cotsen added: "Mitch Wortzman's reputation in the field of dermatologics has been instrumental in strengthening Neutrogena's respected image with this important segment of our market. We are pleased to affirm his contributions and the importance of this area through his promotion."
 Before joining Neutrogena in 1980, Wortzman held faculty and research positions with the University of Southern California's Schools of Medicine and Pharmacy and with the Los Angeles Comprehensive Cancer Center.
