NETWORK WORLD APPOINTS WINDERS AS VICE PRESIDENT, CIRCULATION
FRAMINGHAM, Mass., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Network World, the premier computing network publication, today announced the appointment of Deborah Winders as vice president, circulation. In her new position, Winders will be responsible for circulation strategy and budget management. She will also assume a strategic position in circulation marketing and support of the magazine's sales efforts.
"As our publication enters a new stage of expansion," said Colin B. Ungaro, president/publisher of Network World, "Deborah will play an important role in ensuring that the quality of our subscribers, their purchasing power and the breadth of purchasing responsibility remains unparalleled."
"As the enterprise network market continues in a period of rapid growth, my job will be to make sure that Network World simultaneously continues to reach this expanding group who purchase for the enterprise network -- including those who purchase LANs, WANs and application software," said Deborah Winders, vice president, circulation.
Winders has been with International Data Group (IDG), Network World's parent company, for six years. Most recently, she was program director for Digital News' EXTRAs Program, a highly successful supplement to Digital News. She was also director of circulation and managed the publication's circulation efforts, ranging from analysis of circulation and market trends to promotion and marketing.
In addition, Winders' other positions at IDG included group circulation director of Digital News, CIO, and Federal Computer Week; circulation director of Macintosh Today; and fulfillment manager of PC World, Macworld, and Publish.
Network World, established in 1986, is the national newspaper of enterprise network strategies. Network World is the fastest growing newsweekly in the networking market, providing information on network products and services including managing the enterprise network for corporate competitive advantage.
