NETWORK WORLD ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF NETDRAW CLIP ART
 FOR BUILDING NETWORKS
FRAMINGHAM, Mass., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Network World, the newsweekly for enterprise network strategies, today announced the release of NetDraw(tm), Clip Art for Building Networks. NetDraw is the first clip art software package created exclusively for networking, systems and computer/communications professionals.
NetDraw gives users immediate access to over 170 professionally drawn objects in six categories: computing, WANs, LANs, telephony, personal computing and patching and cabling. Currently, NetDraw is available for Macintosh(R). DOS and Windows versions of NetDraw will be available in early July 1992.
"We created NetDraw so network professionals can add clarity and consistency to their network drawings, proposals, bids and training materials quickly and easily," said Network World Director of Special Projects William Reinstein.
The software is designed to work in two ways. Templates are provided to be used with PICT compatible drawing programs including MacDraw(R), Canvas(R) and SuperPaint(R). Individual PICT symbols are also supplied and can be pasted into drawing program files as well as a variety of word processing, page layout and presentation documents.
"Every day network professionals count on their graphic network representations to clear and persuasively communicate their ideas. We offer NetDraw as a way to assist them in performing their jobs more effectively," said Colin Ungaro, president/publisher of Network World.
