NETWORK FINANCIAL SERVICES OFFERS NATION'S FIRST SOFTWARE/ON-LINE SERVICE FOR SELLING HOMES, MORTGAGES AND INSURANCE

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- A California financial services company is marketing the nation's first on-line computer software system that enables realtors to provide "one-stop shopping" for homes, mortgages and insurance.
Network Financial Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: NETW) of San Jose will lease the software and provide access to the system at no charge to any realtor who uses it to fund two mortgages a month. Otherwise, the user will be billed $195 for that month.
Network said realtors who use the ProSolutions software and service can help consumers save thousands of dollars in interest and insurance costs and many hours in convenience. In addition, realtors can earn extra fees from Network's mortgage subsidiary for closing mortgages.
ProSolutions will be unveiled at the California Association of Realtors convention Tuesday, Sept. 28, in Anaheim. Shipping will begin in October. To support the effort, the Sector Group, who developed the software in conjunction with Network, has arranged for IBM and NCR to make their training facilities available to the realtors. ProSolutions runs on industry standard IBM compatible personal computers.
The on-line mortgages will be offered by Network subsidiary Westmark Mortgage Corporation or one of its correspondent companies. The insurance will be offered by another subsidiary, Network Home Insurance Services, and feature special AETNA products at a discount.
Network is the largest franchisee in the ERA real estate organization, with 31 offices in Northern California and more than 375 real estate agents and employees.
"We hope ProSolutions will help jump start the residential real estate industry -- and generate mortgage and insurance business for us," said Lee J. Danna, Network chairman. "That's why we've developed a way for realtors to use it for free."
"ProSolutions makes it easier to sell and buy a home," Mr. Danna
explained. "Real estate brokers can sell more homes and make more money, consumers can save money on interest and insurance, and they can avoid spending the 5-10 days it typically takes to 'shop around' for a mortgage and insurance."
Specifically, ProSolutions offers five major feature/benefits:
 1. Real estate brokers can track their's and others' listings, organize their prospecting/sales efforts, and automate all book-keeping. Focus group tests have shown that the system can help realtors increase their sales over current sales.
 2. Real estate brokers can earn fees from Westmark for work done which leads to closing mortgages.
 3. Real estate agents can determine within minutes -- instead of days -- whether customers have been pre-approved for mortgages, a welcome convenience.
 4. Consumers can lock in interest rates for up to 30 days before the mortgage is officially approved. This can help consumers save thousands of dollars in interest costs over the life of the mortgage.
 5. Consumers can buy AETNA homeowners insurance at a discount for additional savings and can also buy mortgage life insurance.
