 BLOOMINGTON, Minn., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- NetStar, Inc., a

privately held Bloomington-based company, announced today the recent hiring of Michel R. Halbouty as vice president, manufacturing, and John P. Mullaney as director of engineering.
Halbouty was employed (1979-1992) by Apertus Technologies Corp. NetStar, Inc. recently completed an initial round of equity financing and is developing a high performance computer networking switching/routing device for use in connecting multiple supercomputers and/or high performance computer workstations, with data transfer rates of over one billion bits per second. NetStar presently expects to complete tests of its first product prototypes in early 1993 and to have production models available for shipment by mid-1993.
In announcing these hirings, Doug Pihl, president and CEO, said, "Both Mr. Halbouty and Mr. Mullaney bring a wealth of computer industry experience to NetStar and will play key roles in its success."
