 NETMANAGE GRANTS IBM A LICENSE FOR
 CHAMELEON TCP/IP TECHNOLOGY FOR WINDOWS
 CUPERTINO, Calif., April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- NetManage Inc. today announced a technology licensing agreement in which IBM Corp. (NYSE: IBM) licensed TCP/IP technology for Windows 3 from NetManage. The technology licensed is part of NetManage's Chameleon product line. Financial terms were not disclosed.
 IBM will use the licensed software to develop IBM TCP/IP applications for Windows environments. Although specific product details were not discussed, the Chameleon technology licensed by IBM provides both client and server TCP/IP applications for Windows-based PCs.  Zvi Alon, president of NetManage, said that "the technology licensing agreement with IBM is further evidence that our Windows TCP/IP technology is ahead of any other solution in the market. We are looking forward to a long-lasting relationship with IBM in the TCP/IP networking area."
 "Chameleon features such as its native Windows DLL implementations and intuitive user interface were strong factors in IBM's decision to license our TCP/IP technology. NetManage technology is by far the closest to the emerging Windows TCP/IP Winsock standard," added Alon.
