NETLIANT UNVEILS GROUND-BREAKING STORAGE NETWORK PRODUCT.
Netliant for Storage Networks uses patented "solving" technology to turn multi-faceted SAN or NAS requirements, incorporating thousands of heterogeneous parts, into fully validated Storage Network plans, down to every disk drive, network interface card and the cabling between them. These plans are accurate and ensure interoperability of all parts based on vendor specifications. Netliant's Storage Network plans integrate with existing quote and proposal systems to significantly shorten the proposal process for selling enterprise Storage Network solutions.
"One of the key criteria we had to meet for selection to DEMO 2002," explains Netliant CEO, Larry Crume, "was to have an innovative product that would change the dynamics of the marketplace that it was introduced into. We believe that Netliant for Storage Networks will truly revolutionize how businesses market and sell complex enterprise networks. Our selection to DEMO 2002 is a considerable acknowledgement of our vast experience and innovative vision."
Targeting an early Spring product release, Netliant for Storage Networks will give users the capability to load customer and business requirements directly and solve the most complex Storage Area design problems magnitudes faster and more accurately than any product available today.
Jim Forbes, Executive Producer for IDG Forums and Demo 2002, states, "Netliant takes the guesswork and time out of designing and building complex enterprise networks or storage systems. This software application includes libraries of network equipment specs and prices, and automatically generates bills of materials for segments or entire projects."
"With Netliant for Storage Networks, I can simply enter my customer's business requirements, no matter how complex, and generate one to multiple detailed quotes in minutes. By just entering new products into the Netliant catalog, Netliant's solving engine automatically incorporates them into new quotes without any additional work. This is key in the Storage Network arena where new products and technologies are emerging every day." Adds Stacey Gardner, Chief Architect of Integrated Archive Systems, a leading Systems Integrator that specializes in storage systems, "The Bottom line is that I can service my customers better and sell more Storage Networks, while spending less time and resources doing it."
