 OF 3,000,000 SHARES OF COMMON STOCK
 MILPITAS, Calif., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- NetFRAME Systems Incorporated today announced that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission with respect to a proposed initial public offering of 3,000,000 shares of common stock, 2,416,138 of which will be offered by the company and 583,862 of which will be offered by certain of its stockholders.
 The offering price of the stock is expected to be between $10.00 and $12.00 per share. The offering will be managed by Lehman Brothers and Cowen & Company. The net proceeds to the company will be used for general corporate purposes including working capital.
 NetFRAME develops, manufactures, markets and supports a broad line of specialized computer systems, commonly known as "superservers," for local and wide area networks. NetFRAME's superservers are multiprocessor-based computers and are designed to provide network file, application and communication server functions. The company's products support the Novell NetWare and Microsoft OS/2 Lan Manager network operating systems. NetFRAME superservers range from the entry level NF100ES Departmental System priced at $12,995 to the fault tolerant NF450FT Enterprise System fully configured with 89 gigabytes of disk storage capacity priced at over $750,000.
