 NELSON BROMS JOINS BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
 COVENANT INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT, INC.
 CHICAGO, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Nelson Broms, former chairman, president and chief executive officer of Equitable Life Holding Corporation, has joined the board of directors of Covenant Investment Management, Inc. Covenant Investment Management, Inc. is an investment advisory firm which manages the Covenant Portfolio, a mutual fund, and individual accounts based upon corporate responsibility guidelines in addition to traditional financial criteria.
 Anthony Carfang, president and chief executive officer of Covenant Investment Management, said, "Mr. Broms' considerable experience within the financial services industry, his commitment to corporate responsibility and his numerous contributions to educational and cultural endeavors are well recognized. His counsel and direction will be invaluable in moving Covenant forward. We are extremely pleased that he has joined our board."
 As a senior officer at the Equitable Life Holding Company, he fostered the formation of numerous pioneering enterprises and innovative corporate investments. Since leaving the Equitable, Broms served as chairman of the executive committee of Clayton Dubilier, Inc. an investment firm. He is also a founder and former vice chairman of Financial Security Assurance, now a subsidiary of US West Financial.
 Broms serves as a director of a number of public and private corporations. He created the Nelson Broms Chair in Private Enterprise while a member of the Hofstra University Council and is a founder and former director of the Manhattan Institute of Policy Research.
 Covenant Investment Management Inc. recently introduced the Covenant Portfolio, a growth and income mutual fund which invests in large U.S. companies with an established record of excellence in responsible corporate behavior and which also meet traditional investment standards.
