NEHA Receives Market Research Grant.

Last October, NEHA received a grant from the DuPage County Health Department in Illinois to conduct a community awareness campaign on behalf of the Department's Environmental Health Services Unit (EHSU). The purpose of the community awareness campaign is to measure and raise public awareness in DuPage County (which has a population of over 800,000) about the EHSU's environmental health services and programs, as well as to increase the EHSU's role in the community as an educational and informational resource to the public. Work on the project, which already has begun, must be completed by April 15, 2000.

Julie Collins, NEHA's market research manager, periodicals manager and editor, is managing the project. NEHA'S newest staff member, Alissa Williams was hired to assist Julie with the periodicals and market research programs.
