NCI awarded NASA contract.

NCI Information Systems, Inc. (NCI) of McLean, Virginia, has been awarded a five year, $16 million contract at NASA headquarters to provide facilities management support, administrative services, library operations, and logistics support. Including options, the contract will employ 85 full-time employees over the next five years. This award is NCI's first contract with NASA.

Specific functional areas of support: library operations, information center support, publications development, audio-visual services, mail operations, mail list management, receiving and inspections, documentation services, duplication services, records management, equipment management, supply support, moving services, custodial services, electrical maintenance, help-desk operations, property disposal, inventory support, and warehoue management.

The contract will be managed by the newly established Facilities Management Business Group at NCI, under the direction of Michael Lancaster, senior vice president.
