NCI Awarded $7m DRMS contract.

NCI Information Systems, Inc. (NCI), a leading information technology, enterprise management, systems engineering and integration corporation, announced today that it has been awarded a time and material task order contract under NCI's GSA Schedule worth more than $7M if all options are exercised.

The new contract is for the Defense Logistics Agency's Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS). The contract will be performed primarily at DRMS Headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan with some NCI staff assigned at other DRMS locations worldwide. SAIC is a subcontractor to NCI on this award.

"This award is indicative of the customer relationship we've earned over the years by being responsive to the DRMS and its worldwide mission," said Charles Narang, Chief Executive Officer for NCI.

This contract supports approximately 530 employees and contractors in the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center and 1,300 located at the 100+ remote offices located worldwide. Specific IT support and administration responsibilities include local area networks (LAN), telecommunications (WAN), PC level end user computing, IT help desk, asset management and logistics, mid-tier computing, information assurance, and software applications development.

"This contract award shows the dedication and importance NCI places on the Defense Logistics Agency customer relationship. This will allow NCI to continue our successful partnership with the DRMS mission as they support their DoD customers worldwide," said Bill Bowser, Senior Vice President and General Manager of NCI's Air Force and Logistics Operations Group.
