NCA Centennial Convention speakers.

On March 16-19, NCA will hold a special edition of its annual meeting--the NCA Centennial Convention--in New Orleans, the birthplace of coffee in the U.S. This unique convention experience is anticipated to attract coffee professionals from across the globe to learn, engage, share and build relationships at the legendary Roosevelt, New Orleans.

The National Coffee Association (NCA) announced that political commmentators James Carville and Mary Matalin will address the NCA Centennial Convention. One of Washington's most celebrated couples, they will discuss "All's Fair: Love, War, and Politics" in a general session on March 18, 2011 in New Orleans.

"James Carville and Mary Mataline redefine 'working across the aisle'," said Robert E Nelson, NCA president and CEO, "Carville and Matalin bring civility and grace back to the kind of robust political discourse that informs, enlightens and enables genuine debate and decision making--an honored tradition befitting NCA's 100 years of service to the U.S. coffee industry."

In their address, Carville and Matalin will give Convention attendees an enlightening and entertaining look at current political issues and a behind-the-scenes look at how today's headlines play out on Capitol Hill and around the country. Co-authors of the national best seller All's Fair: Love, War, and Running for President, they each hold over 30 years of political experience and have worked for every U.S. president over the last three decades. Coming from opposite sides of the political spectrum, the beltway couple combines their unique experiences to provide a stimulating, candid and provocative conversation.
