NBD OFFERS $10,000 REWARD FOR BRANCH ROBBERY

 DETROIT, Dec. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- NBD Bank announced that it will pay $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the individual responsible for the robbery of its branch office at Greenfield Road near Puritan Road in Detroit today.
 Charles T. Fisher III, NBD chairman and president, said, "We are outraged about the increasing incidence of violent crimes against banks, their customers and employees. NBD is offering this reward because we believe that any effort we can make to stem this tide must be pursued. In this particular case, we were very fortunate that no harm came to our employees or customers."
 The Detroit Clearing House Association also offers a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of bank robbers.
